The short version

This page covers how betboltcasino.uk handles personal data on our own site – it does not describe how Betbolt the operator handles data on its own platform, which is a separate matter governed by its own policies. We are an independent information resource, and what follows applies only to visits made here.

We collect a limited amount of information: technical data generated by your browser, cookie data where you've consented to it, and anything you choose to send us through our contact form. We don't sell data, and we don't share it with the operators we write about.

Data you hand over vs data we observe

Two categories of information reach us. The first is what you give us directly – your email address and message content if you write in through our contact form. The second is what your device produces simply by visiting: your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and the pages you view, collected automatically through standard web logging and any analytics tool running with your consent.

We do not ask for identity documents, payment details or account credentials, because we have no player accounts to manage. Any request for that kind of information belongs with the operator's own platform, not with us.

Why we collect it

Technical data keeps the site working properly and tells us which pages are useful. Contact-form data lets us reply to you. Cookie data, where you've agreed to it, helps us understand broad traffic patterns – nothing more granular than that.

Processors and transfers

We rely on a small number of third parties to run this site – typically a hosting provider and, where enabled, an analytics service. These processors handle data on our instructions and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. Where a processor is based outside the UK, we expect appropriate safeguards to be in place before any transfer happens. We do not pass your data to advertisers as a matter of course, and we never sell it.

Exercising your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask what we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to certain processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time where consent is the basis for processing. None of these rights cost anything to exercise.

To use any of these, email [email protected] and tell us which right you're exercising – we aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe and no later than the statutory limit. If you're unhappy with how we've handled a request, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's independent supervisory authority for data protection, at ico.org.uk.

Retention

We keep contact-form correspondence only as long as it's needed to deal with your query and any reasonable follow-up, then delete it. Technical and analytics data is generally held in aggregated or anonymised form once its short-term operational use has passed. We don't keep personal data indefinitely on the basis that it might be useful later.

Under-18s

This site, and the gambling content it discusses, is intended for adults aged 18+ only. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and this policy is not addressed to minors. If a parent or guardian believes a child has submitted information to us, contact [email protected] and we'll remove it.

If you're a parent concerned about a device being used to access gambling content generally, tools such as Net Nanny or Qustodio can help restrict access at the device level – that sits alongside, not instead of, the age controls any gambling operator should run.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our own practices or the law change. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date; we'd encourage checking back periodically rather than assuming nothing has moved.

This policy was last reviewed in 2026. For questions about how we handle your data on this portal, write to [email protected].

Access to this site is restricted to persons aged 18 and over (18+). If gambling ever stops feeling like entertainment, free and confidential support is available at BeGambleAware.org.
